If problems or uncertainties over employment issues arise in your business, you are likely to want some fast informal advice in the first instance. Whenever you have a question or potential problem with an employee, you can call us for clear advice safe in the knowledge that we know you and your business.
Employers often tell us they are frustrated by 'help lines' as the advice they receive nine times out of ten is "you can't do that!" We realise that in a commercial world, hearing this advice is not useful for your business. We can provide flexible advice and support to help you come to a decision that best suits the needs of your business. Applying our expertise, experience and imagination to your situation allows us to come up with practical solutions which we then help you to implement, often saving you time and money.
For an agreed annual fee, based on the size of your business and number of employees, you can access our Employment Helpline. We will discuss your current employment arrangements and your future intentions as well as getting to know about your business. Once set up, you are then free to contact the helpline as many times as necessary for advice about individual issues as they arise.
If you need to discuss a particular issue with us several times we will treat this as having turned into a problem and it will convert to a separate matter. At this point our normal terms and conditions will apply. The likely cost of matters will be discussed with you before you sign up to the helpline. Much of the documentation that you might need will be charged according to our fixed fee list a copy of which we are happy to give you.
