Although many of the tax advantages of trusts have been removed or reduced, putting money or assets into trust can still serve a very useful purpose in ensuring that they are used as you wish for the benefit of children or vulnerable people.

Trusts can also ensure that the management of the money or assets is controlled by people of your choice, rather than, for example, the officers of the Court of Protection.
