Funding Contentious Probate

If the instructions are on behalf of an estate or trust, our fees will usually come out of the deceased’s estate or trust.

If the claim relates to a claim that no or insufficient provision was made in the estate for a dependant, then it might be possible to fund the claim with legal aid.

Otherwise the claim will be funded privately or, if the case has sufficient merit and there are sufficient funds within the estate, by Conditional Fee Agreement (“no win, no fee”).
