Park Woodfine LLP and Heald Mellows LLP have announced their merger to create one of the largest independent law firm in the area.  The merger brings together two of the areas most established law firms in the Bedfordshire and Northamptonshire area, creating a firm with combined fees in the region of £4.2m.

From 1st April 2007, Park Woodfine Heald Mellows will be based at Park Woodfine's headquarters in Lurke Street, Bedford.  This will be the hub of the law firm's activity where clients will benefit from the combined breadth of knowledge and experience that the firm's staff have.  Clients will have access to good quality advice on their doorstep, avoiding the need to go further a field or even into Central London.

Park Woodfine Heald Mellows LLP will be divided into eight divisions specialising in different areas of the law.  These are: Commercial law, Family law, Property law, Personal Injury law, Medical Accident law, Wills, Trusts and Probate law, Charity law, and Mediation.

The merger will ensure that both firms can grow and continue to meet the expanding legal needs of the local community in which both firms have a long history of involvement.

As part of the merger, Park Woodfine Heald Mellows LLP has used the opportunity to consider its brand and the way consumers perceive both the firm and the services they offer.  As a result of this, the firm has re branded and has completely redefined the way in which the firm communicates to clients.
