Court of Appeal Success

Park Woodfines Civil Litigations department was successful in persuading the Court of Appeal that the "habitual residence" rules under the Social Security legislation was being interpreted too restrictively. Lesley Milne represented Pushpaben Bhakta in the successful appeal. The Secretary of State for Works & Pensions has been refused leave to appeal to the House of Lords.
