Winding Up

If you have to bring the charity to an end, there are several things you need to consider. As well as the duty to notify the Charity Commission (if the charity is registered) the trustees need to ensure that they are able to bring the charity to an end under the terms of the governing document and that all assets such as land, cash and specific items are adequately dealt with.
