Shareholder's Rights
In many small companies, the shareholders and directors are likely to be the same people. But as a company grows, the shareholders are often separate from the people with day to day management of the company. Directors owe shareholders certain obligations which the shareholders are entitled to enforce.
it is usually sensible for shareholders to have a Shareholders Agreement which will give shareholders a greater say in decision making. It can also protect minority shareholders against the powers held by the majority.
