General Business Advice
Company Formation
First and foremost you need to choose a name which isn't as straightforward as it sounds! Is it available? is it likely to offend anyone? Does it contain a sensitive word for which you may need permission (such as Queen, British, Duke the list is quite long!) or worse a word which carries criminal sanctions for use in a business name?
Having decided on that, the next decision is the type of company you want to set up. There are four types and each differs depending on the liability of the members and whether shares are available to the general public.
Your company needs a constitution. There are model articles which can be adopted but you have to ensure that these will be suitable for your business needs in the future. We would advise that you speak to us at an early stage so we can ensure your articles are right for you.
