We believe that we need to manage our business in a way that enhances the positive and minimises the negative economic, social and environmental impacts of our activities and services.

Led by the firm’s Employee Forum, our corporate social responsibility programme commenced in 2009 and is supported by all partners and employees.

Our strategy focuses on four key areas: environment, community, clients and employees.

Environment

At Park Woodfine Heald Mellows LLP we are taking steps to minimise our impact on the environment through the reduction of waste and energy consumption. We encourage all employees to consider the effect of their actions on natural resources. The firm continually makes a conscious effort to reduce the amount of waste requiring disposal by either preventing it in the first place or where possible, reusing or recycling.

Park Woodfine Heald Mellows LLP also ensures that all our suppliers share the same views in relation to corporate social responsibility and therefore it is our policy to only use suppliers who have a desire to reduce their impact on the environment along with using recyclable materials and recycle any waste wherever possible.

Park Woodfine Heald Mellows LLP is working towards becoming carbon neutral by 2015.

Community
